A wire loop seal secures the cable to the lock and port. When the USB cable is inserted in the port (over the lock), the lock is physically secured in the USB port. First, the one-piece lock is inserted and positioned into the USB port. The lock physically secures the USB cable to the port, which prevents the cable from being removed. This lock protects any cables connected to a USB port on desktops, laptops, servers, routers and portable devices. Additional wire loop seals can be purchased separately. If ordered by 2PM EST, the seals ship the same day.Ī single wire loop seal can be used to secure multiple USB port seals if they are within reach of the wire loop length. The USB port lock is sold in packs of 5 seals.
Typical applications are exposed USB ports on servers, routers, laptops, computers and portable devices. After threading, the wire loop seal is also locked to secure the USB lock into place. A wire loop is threaded through aligned holes in the 2-piece lock to secure the lock in place. The lock is a two-piece unit which fits into the USB port.
This lock protects unused USB ports by physically blocking access. Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF)
